The Christmas Letter! (and my 100th Post!!!!!)

This year has been all about making adjustments in our family. All I'm hoping this next year is that everything will be calm and uneventful!! (or strong medication!) It's been quite the "adjustment" living with a 2 and 6 year old in a 37 ft. trailer. I have downsized everything we own and I've quickly realized what we can and can't live without. I can say with 1000% certainty that I will NEVER EVER EVER go camping again. EVER! EV-ER! (The last one was for dramatic effect!!!)

Josh has been working in Vegas so the time we do have with him we are normally smothering him!! (With hugs and kisses not a pillow)

Jayden is in 9th grade. He's now living with us full time, it's been nice to get to see him more and get to know him. I know that Jessica and Tori love to have him around and play with him!

Jessica is in kindergarten and loves it! She comes home and teaches what she learned with Tori. She is OBSESSED with everything Koala Bear!

Tori is a typical 2 year old that loves to get into everything! She LOVES her big sister and follows her everywhere.

Overall it's been quite the year and we're looking forward to a calm 2011!!!

Merry Christmas!

Love,

Anne, Josh, Jayden, Jessica and Toribelle!

Riverton Hospital ER

Tori was not breathing very well last weekend so I took her to the ER at Riverton Hospital....we had nothing better to do! I was a little panicky actually and was relieved it was nothing more than croup. These pictures were taken after the Dr. saw us and I was informed that it was a complete waste of time to go. I wanted to at least get some cute pictures of her in her gown.

She wanted to make sure I got a picture of her foot that had an oxygen level tester thing on it
She was so tired!

Right after I took these pictures and got her dressed she had a "breathing episode" which is why I took her there in the first place. It really did make me panic and I went and got a nurse and she called the Dr. back in. They gave her some steroids to help her airway and today she is finally better and sleeping through the night.

Trailer Class

We spent all weekend on our new porch! We just need to dig a fire pit and we'll be the talk of the trailer town!

Actually the chairs are going there for the winter so they won't get covered in snow and the "rocks" are there so no one bumps there head on the corner of the trailer in the middle of the night.

Happy Halloween!

Tori was Jessie from Toy Story and Jessica was a Koala rescue worker from Australia!! It was raining all day on Halloween so we didn't hit up too many houses.

I even carved a pumpkin with a koala on it!! I'm expecting my Mother of the Year award in the mail any day now.

Just Random

I'm having an off day. Actually it's not so much an off day as an off couple of days!
Almost everyday I love being known as Mom. Somedays I would like to be more than Mom and have a conversation other than answering every question know to man--ranging from "What's more important the Sun, Earth, or the Moon?" or "Why can't I dig in the dirt right before I go to school?" I know that when my kids are grown up and don't need me as much as they do now I'm going to look back and wish that they were the age they are now.

What's funny is everytime Josh and I actually do go out I'm counting down the minutes to get my kids back. Josh will suggest we stop at another store and just walk around or we wait for a little while longer to get the girls and I'm always the one that tells him we need to pick them up. And everytime Jessica has a good time without me, I admit my heart breaks (even though I really do love that she is okay without me it would be nice to know that without me she is crying in the corner in a fetal position and the only word she can get out is Mom until I come back! (I'm exaggerating))

Tori is and always will be my baby, she really needs me. If I go out of the room for just a minute she will come running up and hug me and tells me "I found you!" She also knows the perfect time (mostly when she's naughty) to shout out she loves me!

Ok--I'm over my mood now! I guess I just had to remember how short of time they are actually little. Before I know it they're going to be teenagers and rolling their eyes at me (Which Jessica already does!)
