Viva Las Vegas

Josh just left for Las Vegas this morning {sad face} I've forgotten all the things that I miss when he leaves.

• A good dinner--there's no point in making a meal when I'm the only one that appreacites it. I do however, remember when Josh was working in Las Vegas before Tori was born, I made Hamburger Helper - Jessica was so happy to have something other than hot dogs or macaroni and cheese! She asked if it was someones birthday!
• Help with the girls (no need to explain this one!)
• Adult conversation
• Someone to kill spiders (now I'll have to ask Jessica)
• A warm body to sleep next to

On the other hand some of the things that are going to be making a comeback in the Lucas household.

• Pajama Monday (sometimes it turns into Pajama Week!)
• No Chore Monday (on occasion this has also turned into No Chore Week!)
• Ice Cream Dinner
• My phone will now be within 2 feet of me at all time. Missing a call sometimes means not being able to talk to him that day

We do really miss Josh when he's gone! It's quite lonely without him here.

Back up!

My Blog is back up--it was tagged as spam by mistake but it's been fixed!

Picnic at Butterfield Canyon

There's only one thing separating us from Salt Lake City...........

Butterfield Canyon--literally....you have to drive around this mountain to get to Salt Lake. It's only 5 minutes from our house. We had a picnic there and did a little 4-wheeling.

We got about 20 feet from him until he got scared!

Vegas Baby!!

I forgot to mention that Josh got his job back working in Las Vegas! We found out on Thursday--it was much anticipated news. He loved working for that company and the people that he worked with. As much as we're going to miss him going back to Vegas it's a great opportunity for our family!

A Swingin' Good Time

Jessica finally mastered the timing of swinging! She's had the technique down and today she got the timing. They were swinging for 43 minutes (yes, I was keeping track).

Home Again!

We're back from Iowa :( It was fun, it was humid, and it was too short!

Iowa Here We Come

We're heading off to Iowa this morning! My family is about to experience the bundle of energy that we call Tori. They aren't going to know what's about to hit em! It's going to be a long day but I can't wait to see my Family!
