Actually they are hugging because Tori pulled Jessica's hair! I made Tori hug her and tell her she was sorry!! But it's still cute!

Jessica's finally 5

Jessica turned 5 in September she has been talking about it for months and it finally happened!
For dinner we had her favorite Mac and Cheese and Corn. Her cake was pink the flavor wasn't as important as the color! A girl after my own heart!!

If you notice there is a piece of cake missing in the corner. She begged me some before dinner--I couldn't resist it was her birthday after all!

She used to wear this skirt ALL THE TIME. I finally threw it away when it was litterally torn to shreds!

• Movie: The Grinch, Scobby Doo, Cat in the Hat and Wizard of Oz.
• Past Time: Riding her bike and drawing.

I still can't believe she's 5...it was just yesterday she wasn't talking back to me!!

Camping--Labor Day Weekend

We took the girls to Josh's parents cabin in the mountains. It's about an hour and a half from Salt Lake. Jessica's favorite part was roasting marshmallows and swingin' on the front porch. It was so nice to get away from everyday life! Since it was the weekend before Jessica's birthday we brought up cupcakes and had a mini birthday party for her.

The girls did not actually ride this--it's just a toy!

Cake batter is the best part!!

The girls helped me bake Josh's birthday cake. This was really the first time that Tori helped me--she loves to do whatever Jessica does. Of course liking the beater their favorite part!
Josh came home from Vegas the day of his birthday. We surprised him with a cake and his presents. My mom also had a dinner at her house for him. More than anything he just wanted to relax!
